01 Does UV-C really kill mold on the coil?
Yes — there's decades of evidence on UV-C sterilization of evaporator coil biofilm. Properly mounted and replaced annually, UV-C reduces coil mold significantly. The 'whole-house air' claims are weaker; the coil application is well-supported.
02 Is iWave safe?
Manufacturer claims show low ozone output, but independent testing has flagged some bipolar ionization devices as exceeding safe ozone levels in certain conditions. We install needlepoint bipolar devices certified to low-ozone standards (UL 2998) and verify with field measurement. Older or no-name ionizers we won't install.
03 Will REME Halo eliminate COVID or flu?
RGF has published lab data showing significant viral load reduction on surfaces and aerosols. 'Eliminate' is too strong — meaningful reduction is the accurate framing. We won't market REME or any product as eliminating illness; it's one tool in layered defense.
04 Do I need all three?
Almost never. For most SW Indiana homes, the right stack is: MERV 13 filter + UV-C on the coil if mold is an issue. Add bipolar or REME only when there's an active concern — respiratory illness, allergies, daycare. Layering everything is rarely justified.
05 How often does the bulb need replacement?
